Pair of Decorative Regency Jardinières, ca. 1815-25

Very elegant pair of Regency jardinères, in walnut and amboyna. These jardinières have a very decorative mother of pearl inlay. The reeded and tapering legs are connected with a curvy cross-stretcher. The original lining tray with a decorative brass gallery and lovely aged patina to the inside.
It is unusual to find jardinières of this model surviving in pairs. They have a great presence and will look fantastic filled with plants.
